WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Talent Acquisition in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site). This internship is full-time during the summer of 2025 with the potential to work part-time during the subsequent academic year(s). The hourly rate for this position is $19.80 with paid company holidays.

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Intern will support our Talent Acquisition Team at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. As a Talent Acquisition Intern you will have the opportunity to experience the recruitment lifecycle and gain exposure to other facets of HR, including diversity initiatives, and much more.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, selection, hiring and onboarding.
  • Train on the use of recruitment system and sourcing tools.
  • Assist with recruitment marketing and utilizing social media to attract viable talent.
  • Work with the team members to build talent pipelines and develop competitor analysis.
  • Gain exposure to our ongoing diversity initiatives.
  • Assist with SharePoint projects and interview scheduling.
  • Develop a working relationship with business unit leaders and Shared Services Teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or closely related major with a graduation date after June 2025.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
