PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Coordinates the daily operations of the Rubber Protective Equipment Test Lab. Assists leadership with the training of new Protective Equipment Testers and outside contractors. Coordinates testing schedules with internal and external customers. Communicates with internal/external customers the replacement costs for damaged equipment. Acts as a subject matter expert in measuring and performing proper size fitting of rubber goods for new employees. Generates reports to leadership to identify employees who are out of test cycle and to track monthly totals and cost metrics. Operates a variety of high voltage test equipment. Receives and performs electrical proof testing of New Purchase rubber goods. Receives, sorts and inspects for physical damage rubber protective goods from the entire CEG system. Performs visual and electrical testing of rubber protective goods before shipping to end-users. Maintains the appropriate levels of replacement goods. Inputs data into corporate database and maintains records of all electrical compliance testing. Communicates frequently with rubber goods vendors regarding shipments and technical inquiries. Performs periodic verification of inspection schedules to ensure testing is conducted at I predetermined intervals. Monitors the operation of high voltage test equipment. Assembles, packs and ships rubber protective goods to internal/external customers. Performs other job-related duties such as testing new purchase equipment and instruments. Note: Routinely required to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Training, education and/or experience in a technical or vocational field; or equivalent combination of formal education/ training and experience.

Skills/Abilities Demonstrated ability to identify electrical equipment failures and recommend and/or make appropriate replacements. Demonstrated ability to coordinate lab operations. Demonstrated ability to meet production levels. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Ability to learn operation of high voltage test equipment. Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer functions. Demonstrated ability to write, speak, read, comprehend, and communicate clearly and accurately in the English language. Must be willing and able to work overtime on a regular basis and must be available for callout overtime if, and when required, consistent with the Labor Agreement.
