Ameresco is seeking a Preconstruction & Project Management Intern to assist with the planning, estimating, and coordination of energy projects. This internship will provide exposure to both preconstruction activities and project management, offering a well-rounded experience in project development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project planning, coordination, and scheduling for various renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

Support the project team in preparing cost estimates, pricing worksheets, and other preconstruction documents.

Help manage and organize project documentation, including review comments, specifications, and meeting minutes.

Participate in data entry and tracking of project milestones, costs, and timelines.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project budgets, timelines, and goals are met.

Attend design and project meetings, taking notes and assisting in follow-up actions.

Assist with the coordination of bids from subcontractors and vendors, including reviewing proposals and tracking pricing.

Foster effective communication between project management, engineering, and field teams.

Support project managers in day-to-day tasks, such as report preparation, meeting scheduling, and administrative duties.

Perform additional preconstruction and project management support tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:

Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Ability to review confidential US security information.
Additional Qualifications:

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Financial literacy.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Interest in Energy Efficiency or Renewable Technology.
