Normal Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid, up-to-date driver's license
Be able to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) 
Mechanical background and aptitude for repairing and performing maintenance on cars, trucks, and other associated equipment
Ability to perform work in a safe and productive manner with fellow workers and customers
Must have verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods of time

There will be a three-part testing procedure required for this position. The first step is a written exam followed by a practical assessment and a behavioral based interview. Each step of the process must be passed in order to progress to the next step. We are providing an outline to prepare for the three-part testing procedure. The outline is designed to maximize test results by centralizing study times in the areas listed below:

Technical Skills Testing

Knowledge of the following:

  • Basic Math
  • Basic Safety Procedures
  • 12v Battery and Charging Systems
  • Hydraulic Brakes
  • Preventative Maintenance and Diagnostics
  • Tires and Suspension
  • Automotive A/C Systems

Practical Assessment Outline

Knowledge of the following: 

  • Change Tire
  • Replace Battery
  • Diagnosis of basic electrical systems
  • Fluid Checks
