Summary
The Supply Chain Project Planning Analyst will provide reporting & analytics for Supply Chain systems and processes, both existing and under development. The analyst will provide broad and detailed analysis to help support business decisions and recommendations, as well as ad hoc initiatives and other analytics-focused assignments & reporting for Supply Chain. This position will be responsible for designing and validating necessary minority business reporting, SOX reporting, and other various ad hoc reporting.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The incumbent shall:
- Work with senior team members, program managers, and other organizational teams to develop processes and improvements.
- For project based assignments, incumbent will be responsible for project scoping, identifying functional requirements, project workshops, communication plans, external communication with vendor (if applicable), documentation, and establishing project milestones. Build reports to analyze relationships between data in various Transmission & Distribution systems.
- Build reports and dashboards to monitor and analyze Supply Chain measures of success and provide recommendations.
- Provide custom reports to monitor and analyze supplier and Supply Chain performance
- Assist in the development and continues improvement of forecasting reports
- Coordinate with various work groups like Engineering Standards, Maintenance Strategy, Distribution Operations, Performance Management, DOC Operations, IT, and others to enhance reporting capabilities and analysis for Supply Chain.
- Be proactive in improving the existing processes by establishing and maintaining process documentation, and develop procedures to enhance existing Supply Chain reporting needs through automation and SharePoint applications.
- Occasionally work after normal working hours to support system operations.
- Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
Education, Experience, & Skills
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- Bachelor Degree in a related field of study is highly preferred
Experience:
- Two years of experience in Data Analytics is required
- Maximo Experience in Contract, Inventory and Purchasing modules is highly preferred
- Maximo Experience in understanding and working with table structures is highly preferred
Skills:
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Maximo, Oracle, SQL & Cognos
- Proactively plans, analyzes and monitors project activities to achieve corporate goals and drive improvements
- Effectively communicate with external and internal personnel to ascertain project stakeholder needs
- Review and analyze various projects and be able to proactively provide pertinent information upon request
- Assist with reporting and achieving performance metrics
- Actively participate in meetings with other work groups with the ability to provide project information when needed
- Proactively monitor project data to identify inefficiencies and help to resolve them
- Respond and provide accurate updates to internal and external requests
