Hudson Energy is seeking candidates for a Pricing and Costing Analyst position in our Houston, TX offices. The Pricing and Costing Analyst position is responsible for preparing and analyzing data for pricing proposals and clearly communicating the results of their work. This position requires critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a customer-service mindset. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily pricing review in a timely and accurate manner
- Evaluate customer data to assess risk and provide product recommendations
- Work closely with our Sales Team to ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness
- Interact with Supply, Load Forecasting, Operations, Sales, Contracts and Risk (as needed) on pricing, billing, contracts, hedging and new product development
- Drive enhancement of policies, procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the Pricing function and the business
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business/analytical field of study (e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Must be detail oriented, productive, and efficient
- Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be well-organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
- 3-5-year work experience required
