Description
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to scope, design, document, implement, and deliver end-to-end solutions to use L+G's Products to accomplish their business tasks.
- Architect new solutions and deliver new services, which meet the needs of the customer and are beneficial to Landis+Gyr's Gridstream Solution in the public cloud as well as private infrastructure.
- Work directly with customers to create solution designs and resolve any issues related to the solution.
- Contribute to the Services culture by actively participating in the evolution of best practices, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
- Support the integration testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
- Build relationships with vendors of utility applications deployed in the Smart Grid Energy Services sector to learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities.
- Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Develop standards, best practices, patterns, and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%)

- Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.
Education & Experience
- Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's degree
- Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5
Desired Education/Experience: Utility industry and public cloud experience desired. Experience with the Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Experience with Oracle database, Java WebLogic, python, scripting, application sizing, performance and tuning, and development of enhancements are desired.
Required/Desired Certifications: Security, Network, Database, and Infrastructure-related certifications. Public cloud provider certifications are a plus.
