What You'll Be doing:

  • Evaluate power plant control systems for cybersecurity needs, develop project cybersecurity design, and manage the lifecycle of platforms and systems to ensure reliability and security
  • Maintain power plant control system network and asset documentation, configuration history, standardization and modernization information for all generating assets
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, conduct assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform periodic assessments of cybersecurity at the plants and assist to further the maturity model of the program
  • Administer and maintain critical systems, provide cybersecurity and engineering support, and facilitate integration of security measures into plant operations

What You'll Need:

  • Engineering and Cybersecurity experience in the power industry working on instrumentation and controls systems
  • Possess working knowledge of computer hardware/software including the Microsoft Office family of products
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity for distributed control systems manufactured by ABB, Emerson Process, GE and Siemens-Westinghouse is preferred.
  • Possess an excellent aptitude for computer operation, networking and communications
  • Excellent organizational, communications, interpersonal, and supervisory skills are required
  • Possess the desire to research/learn new technologies almost on a daily basis for the purpose of system support
  • Project management experience preferred
