Job Responsibilities

The Engineer works under general supervision to provide Gas Engineering and Gas Storage support to field and staff personnel through a variety of projects and assignments.

  • Evaluate system performance through modeling
  • Develop system designs, overseeing construction, maintenance, and operations activities
  • Investigate incidents, trouble-shooting systems and equipment, tests materials, and other assignments
  • Collaborate with both site personnel and contractors for operations and maintenance and throughout capital projects
  • Create environmental and performance reports on a monthly and annual basis
  • Provide technical training and develop procedures on equipment changes and installations
  • Utilize and implement management of change process as well as document control for all project work

 

This position is part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer/Engineer/Senior Engineer). Experience will be the determining factor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 0-2 yrs. relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may be included as relevant engineering)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • 2+ years of internal combustion or RICE engines experience (1,000+ horsepower)
  • 2+ years of industrial infrastructure equipment (compressors, dryers, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, generators)
  • 2+ years of working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, PSC 135,API, ASTM, MSS, etc.)
  • 2+ years of pipeline construction processes experience (welding, tapping, hydro test, purging, tie-ins, etc.)
  • 2+ years of pipeline design, planning, and cost estimating
