Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help support business decisions. The successful candidate will have strong experience in statistical analysis and data modeling, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify trends and patterns in data. Key Accountabilities
- Collecting and interpreting complex data sets from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
- Conducting advanced analysis of structured and unstructured datasets using statistical tools and software, such as Python or R.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality.
- Collaborating with teams to identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business decisions.
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Identifying areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Designing and implementing data models and simulations to forecast trends and patterns.
- Mentoring junior data analysts and assisting with their development.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a technology or business field.
- Strong experience in statistical analysis and data modeling, with proficiency in SQL programming and statistical software, such as R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, and/or data visualization.
- Ability to lead, track, and communicate status of team initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy and dependable
- Demonstrate strong analytic skills and attention to detail
