Job Summary
Within TXU Energy and residing in the Large Business Operations (LBO) organization, the Retail Deal Support team exists to deliver a best-in-class experience for contracted customers in the Business Markets segment. As part of this team, the Analyst I, Retail Deal Support has responsibility for completing modifications (deal changes) to current hedged electricity contracts for the Business Customers. This includes following business processes, appropriately reporting each modification, submitting and tracking market transactions, managing and integrating activities within existing business rules and processes, and delivering an improved customer experience.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Researches and resolves complicated issues and provide interval customers with detailed analysis, explanations and reconciliations on contract information
- Reviews, discusses and explains products, services, contractual terms and conditions, associated with deal changes/contract amendments.
- Responds to service requests, monitors transactions
- Processes contract changes including amendments and location additions and deletions
- Is able to work simultaneously in multiple systems, databases, office programs and online solutions including but not limited to SAP, Access, Excel, various Sharepoints and online
- Work with the account service management team to provide excellent customer service when customer needs changes to their contract.
- Possesses and utilizes strong analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
- Works cross-functionally with Sales, Analytics, Billing, Marketing and Revenue Operations to ensure high performance standards and service goals are being met
- Negotiates, approves and or recommends billing settlements after conducting thorough analysis and in accordance with corporate Delegation of Authority processes
- Exhibits flexibility and embraces frequent change
- Has a workable understanding of applicable power market fundamentals and pricing
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 1+ years of related work experience
- Experience with customer facing and project coordination/mgt methods preferred.
- Excellent negotiating, consensus building and conflict resolution skills
- Extensive communication and teamwork skills with both internal and external customers Able to effectively contribute to work groups, process team and focus groups
- Proficient in using computer software applications such as MS Office products
- Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of Internet and related emerging technologies used to effectively aggregate/analyze critical business data
- Strong Project Coordination skills including time management and problem-solving skills
- Skill in understanding and developing process flows
- High School diploma or equivalent required
