Summary

Spire is seeking a Leak & Maintenance Administrator to work in Field Operations. This position will be responsible for the management and administration of company policy and coordinating the daily operation of the region.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a demonstrated understanding of field operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all work and vacation schedules for management and contract employees within the region.
  • Oversee the tasks of supervisors at the direction of, or in the absence of the Distribution Ops Manager.
  • Consult with and assist Operations Support with technician training.
  • Consult with and train Supervisors in all aspects related to field operations and contractual issues.
  • Assist supervisors and contract employees with all field emergencies.
  • Assist the Supervisor in the preparation and implementation of the department's business plan for the current and upcoming fiscal years.
  • Monitor field operations to track employee productivity and validate that benchmark standards are being met.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordinate all safety activities for the region.
  • Review documentation and process critical departmental forms (i.e. hazard reports, leak reports, absence reports, and timesheets, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for supervising a team of leaders and employees - to include contract employees - in Leak & Maintenance.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid Missouri driver's license or the ability to obtain a Missouri driver's license.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Two to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Three years of gas industry experience.
