We are building a team to lead SCE's NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program focused on streamlining and modernizing our processes/systems across the ERP landscape. Our migration to the next generation of SAP's ERP software will enable new digital solutions, increase automation, integrate artificial intelligence, and improve data access and quality.

The PMO Governance & Performance, Senior Advisor will be a liaison/mediator to influence the development of effective strategies to ensure the program stays within scope, schedule, and budget. This position will use advanced ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness to develop unique and creative solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks affecting program success and team health.

  • Provide leadership and direction to matrixed resources including technical teams, business SMEs, and functional leads to steer strategic alignment with program achievements
  • Lead horizontally across organization and serve as strategic advisor and change champion
  • Oversee vendor engagements to ensure successful achievement of key project objectives using structured program governance and performance processes
  • Analyze and interpret data, monitor and control project deliverable quality and timeliness, ensuring efficient utilization of project resources, tracking systems, reporting and dashboards.
  • Document meeting outcomes, coordinate status reports, manage deliverable approvals, report on risks and issues impacting critical path
  • Leverage excellent verbal and written communication with managers, Sr. Advisors, Project Managers, vendor partners, business process owners and other key team members to influence decisions using creative problem solving, innovation and industry standard methodologies
  • Create and maintain program and team health scorecard and develop teamwork competencies to achieve program success and encourage a one-team mentality

The essentials:

  • Ten or more years of experience in program / project support and leadership.

The Preferred:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, team building and ability to achieve work through others
  • Experience managing sourcing efforts and/or managing vendor partners
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working on a Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Strong attention to detail using data analytics and creative problem-solving skills including detailed risk analytics
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide project / program technology implementations
  • Project Management certification (PMP)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Change Management, System Integration or another related field.
  • Experience with energy and/or utility business
  • Experience working in SCE's Transmission and/or Distribution business unit.
