Description

As our company continues to expand its digital presence and leverage technology for business growth, we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable IT Security and Compliance Manager to join our team. This critical role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust security measures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across all aspects of our organization's IT infrastructure.

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard company assets and sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead efforts to monitor and respond to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and resolution of breaches or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and best practices to proactively adapt security strategies and measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into system development, network operations, and business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc., through effective governance and audit procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and certification bodies to facilitate compliance audits and certifications.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on security-related matters, including training programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and identity/access management solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall security posture of the organization and reduce exposure to cyber threats.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in corporate IT
  • 5+ or more years of information systems or relevant business experience in the cyber security, compliance and controls areas
  • Previous experience with IT Infrastructure technologies considered a plus
  • Previous work in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) considered a plus
