JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and implementing OG&E's Community Engagement strategy through donations, voluntarism, educational programming and community events. Manage OGE Energy Corp. Foundation including grant applications and disbursements as well as build relationship with funded entities.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

Accountable for departmental performance. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan. Generally manages a recognized discipline and specialty with separate budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the OG&E Community Engagement processes and procedures used within the company by internal stakeholders.

Recommend community donations and sponsorships.

Lead, develop and implement OG&E's community relations program, including philanthropy, sponsorships, partnership-building, strategic communications, collaboration and measurement.

Collaborate on integrated strategic plan with business partners to effectively build, manage and maintain OG&E's reputation among external audiences.

Maintain relationships with nonprofit and community partners, enhancing OGE's brand-building strategies.

Brief key executives on trends and opportunities to engage in the community.

Identify and compile a list of societal values and initiatives that are linked to company's core operations and have high shared-value-potential.

Identify key areas of mutual interest and importance to both the business and stakeholders through collaboration with business partners.

Partner with Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to tell OG&E Community Engagement story to key internal and external stakeholders.

Identify and build network and relationships with key influencers within the communities where the company operates.

Manage OGE Energy Corp. Foundation, including grant applications and disbursements as well as Foundation Committee meetings and minutes. Maintain strong relationships with funded entities and communicate the impact of OGE Energy Corp. Foundation donation.

Lead team of Community Engagement Coordinators to implement company volunteers, donations, educational programming and community events.

Drive employee engagement in community objectives by effectively communicating the value of each objective and how it relates to employees' everyday work.

Measure impact of OG&E Community Engagement program with regard to economic development, key community outcomes and brand trust.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Strategic Communications, Business Communications or other related discipline, And 10 years of experience in marketing, brand, communications, public relations, nonprofit management and/or related field. And

Experience with creation, implementation and evaluation of marketing/communications plans.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment.

May work outside normal work week schedule.

Some travel required.
