JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Act as liaison between business units and IT technical teams. Work with our business partners to understand future goals and objectives to develop strategic plans. Provide Operational Support to ensure customer incident/service requests are handled in a timely manner and there are no impacts to daily operations.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing roadmaps for Maximo applications by working with our business partners to understand their future goals and objectives.
- Assist with project planning and initiation for Maximo identified roadmap items by working with our business partners to develop business cases.
- Responsible for execution of the requirements process to translate business needs into functional specifications, including the establishment of standards, use-cases, templates, and critical processes (i.e. requirements, change control, requirements traceability).
- Provide testing support for approved projects; participate on projects I other capacities as needed.
- Provide operational support to ensure incidents/requests are being handled in a timely manner and there are no impacts to daily operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR work experience equivalent
Minimum experience required of the position
IT Busn Analyst: 1-3+ years of relevant IT experience is required
- Experience in Utility Industry is a plus
- Experience in IT Service Delivery is a plus
IT Busn Analyst SR: 4+ years of relevant IT experience is required
- Experience in Utility Industry is a plus
- Experience in IT Service Delivery is a plus
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
This position requires some technical experience and analysis/problem solving skills. Must be able to gain understanding of integrations to other applications that exists internally and externally.
