Description
General Purpose

Conducts electronic equipment setup, commissioning, and tracking in SAP, including managing SAP eld, attributes, maintenance plans and the overall transition of these elds to Maximo as part of Paci c Power's Asset Management Organization. Additional responsibilities include processing and managing all maintenance test records including weather station maintenance items, managing manufacturer alert and warranty related corrective maintenance items, and managing WECC compliance for Bulk Electric System T&D assets. Additionally, this position, will support the transition from SAP to Maximo for speci c areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a customer first culture and commit to delivering outstanding results for internal and external customers.

  • Assist in the formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and analysis using understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

  • Provide assistance in systems administration and process execution of management and maintenance systems in SAP and Maximo.

  • Assist in the development and modification of information systems to meet business needs.

  • Documents user and system requirements and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary.

  • Coordinate and ensure quality and integrity of input data into operational and forecast systems.

  • Provide data analysis for development and maintenance of modeling and reporting systems. 

  • Create tools to automate processes involving input and extraction of data and both regular and ad hoc reports. 

  • Analyze output data and reports and provide interpretation and concise communication of results. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, IT or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Knowledge of applicable company policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations. 

  • Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive and complex in nature.

  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.

  • Excellent oral and communication skills and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.

  • Working knowledge of SAP and Maximo software

  • Project management skills including project leadership, task identi cation, scheduling, and cost/expenditure identi cation.

  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with di erent styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team; ability to present alternatives and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of applicable company policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.

Preferences

  • Experience with SAP and Maximo.

  • Prior experience in Service Coordinator in Operations or similar role.

  • Knowledge of the electric utility industry and its regulatory and operating environments

  • Knowledge of substation equipment and maintenance performed on that equipment.

  • Understanding of FERC/WECC Reliability Standard requirements regarding maintenance
