Leads PGE's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance over Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs). Leads the IT side of risk assessments and controls consultation for relevant system implementation projects.
You'll be responsible for evaluating control deficiencies, designing remediation plans, and consulting with IT management on the design and maintenance of their controls. You will also act as a liaison between PGE's external and internal audit groups and IT management, provide training and regularly present to PGE's SOX Committee and senior management.

Risk Assessment: Gains understanding of new or changed IT processes and systems and partners with others to identify and scope risks to financial reporting
Compliance: Supports control activities to ensure compliance with internal control policies; reviews and evaluates the compliance process to determine if the organization is being responsive to the needs of PGE
Internal Consulting: Advises leadership on a broad range of decisions and methodologies; responsible for working with cross-functional teams to respond to routine and complex management requests
Financial and IT Systems: Gains proficiency with IT organization-specific applications and understands how to perform complex tasks; works with IT and/or vendors on system implementations and upgrades
Key Responsibilities - Principal Analyst
Risk Assessment: Gains understanding of new or changed IT processes and systems and leads work to identify and scope risks to financial reporting, informed by previous direct experience
Compliance: Leads the development of compliance standards that reflects the needs of PGE and addresses identified risks and concerns; submits to management and senior leadership for review and approval
Internal Consulting: Serves as an expert resource, ensuring all IT SOX related information as required is provided to stakeholders across the company; advises on industry and historical trends to provide context
Financial and IT Systems: Gains proficiency with IT organization-specific applications and understands how to perform complex tasks; leads requirement gathering and design sessions for system implementations and upgrades
Education/Experience/Certifications Education - Senior Analyst
Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field or equivalent experience
CISA certification preferred
