This position is expected to have practical EPC deployment and design experience and provide detailed documentation and hands-on support when required. The architect will be responsible for designing and deploying a 4G EPC and 5GC core networks to include utility-grade security platforms. This may also include the high-level design of IMS or Mission-Critical push-to-talk (MC-PTT) interfaces. In-depth knowledge of 5G cloud core and service-based architecture, including network slicing, containerized microservice-based cloud architecture, and control /user plane separation, is required. The architect is also responsible for the solution lifecycle projections. This role is customer-facing and is highly technical, but must be able to articulate complex requirements and consult with clients to design around their needs, meaning every design will be unique.
