Focused on the development of new and existing Oil and Gas Infrastructure both offshore and onshore, with emphasis on the specification of HHI products wit Project Managers, OEM's and End Users. Responsible for the development and implementation of the Hubbell Harsh and Heavy sales strategy and related performance within the Oil and Gas Vertical. Working very closely with the Global External Sales team in this region/vertical to ensure we are maximising our sales opportunities. The position will report directly to the Senior Manager Corporate Strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the (Manager/Team) to develop and maximize all opportunities for the Hubbell Harsh Hazardous Industrial (HHI) brands in the development of Oil and Gas Globally.
- Help develop the Sales Strategy for the Project Managers, OEM's, Contractors and End users that are driving the exploration, extraction and refinement of Oil and Gas products.
- Identify and define routes to market with the Project Houses managing the development of new and existing Oil and Gas Projects.
- Build relationships with OEM's, Project Houses and Major Contractors involved in the EPC for Oil and Gas.
- Secure business in the Supply Chains for the Oil and Gas Vertical.
- Maintain and develop route to market for brands via distribution, contractors, OEM's, and End users.
- Provide training and support to end users, EPC contractors and distributors within the Vertical to sustain and develop their knowledge of our brands including any in house training that may be required.
- Gather and communicate competitor's products and strategies in the territory.
- Liaise with all HHI sales personnel and businesses in other regions as and when required.
- Inform the product management & technical team on various requirements within the HHI brands including and not restricted to competitor activity, market demands, and requirements and any potential installation changes as issued by end users.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop a portfolio of Oil and Gas Customers.
- Achieve sales/profit targets in the Oil and Gas vertical.
- Emphasis on specification work within the (Area) based end users/EPC Contractors and OEM's.
- Market Share Growth in the Oil and Gas vertical in the (Area).
- Develop technical knowledge on all HHI brands and build relationships with existing customers.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc) from four-year college or university; with specialization in Engineering experience within a similar role.
- 5+ years' experience in a Sales Management role; experience related to the Renewable Energy Sector.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Relationship Management: Track record managing complex sales relationships in a technical environment.
- Computer Skills: Must have strong Microsoft Office and other PC application skills.
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Project Management: Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
