THE ROLE: Billing Specialist
Spruce Power is at the forefront of the clean energy economy, which employs more than 3 million people, according to a recent Advanced Energy Economy report. Residential solar and energy efficiency are among the fastest-growing industries in the U.S.
Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to homeowner requests and questions in regards to their solar billing
- Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound phone calls, email and fax
- Quickly and completely resolve customer issues
- Update account status and database regularly through proper and thorough documentation
- Ensure that all calls and emails are properly recorded and documented
- Establish close working relationships with cross-department teams including but not limited to collections, HOST, accounting and monitoring
- Validation of customer information including addresses, contact information, and right party authentication steps
- Comply with policies and procedures as required
- Work from multiple servicing platforms to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
General Knowledge and Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Computer/Technical knowledge to change, add, or delete information in servicing platform
