Job Summary

This position will be offered as an Environmental Specialist I or II, commensurate with selected candidate's skills and experience. This opportunity will be located at our West Broad Street Office.  Relocation is authorized for this position. 

Coordinates and ensures company programs and projects are in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, and areas of concern. Promotes corporate environmental policy, by educating and assisting employees to seek innovative ways to ensure operational environmental compliance. Will work with other Environmental Services team members to coordinate environmental permitting activities for company facilities. Will manage SharePoint and internal databases used for scheduling inspections, scheduling emissions testing and other environmental compliance tasks for the Environmental Services group. 

Prepares and coordinates reports and registration information to required regulatory agencies by compiling data used for annual and semi-annual emission reports with various states. Uses electronic databases to analyze and monitor company compliance with regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences required for entry into this job include the following

Required for Environment Specialist I:

1-2 years relevant experience.

Required for Environmental Specialist II:

3-4 years relevant experience.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Preferred:  

Experience using Enviance.

Experience using task scheduling software.

Experience using SharePoint.

Experience with Clean Air Act (CAA) and state air regulations in MD, VA, WV, OH, SC, PA or NY, and air permitting is a plus. 

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experiences (Minimum Requirements) 

Required for Environment Specialist I:

1  year relevant experience.

Required for Environmental Specialist II:

3 years relevant experience.

Education Level:

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor
