Description
It is an exciting time as MISO transforms its business to meet the future needs of our partners and implement change running the power grid for 15 states in the Midwest! As MISO's Transformation Specialist, you will coach project teams to identify, develop, and implement transformation management plans and monitor their effectiveness. You will help design and facilitate organizational change management (OCM) training to promote the education of MISO's approach to OCM and prepare employees to participate in OCM project activities. As part of this role, you will also support a growing OCM community of practitioners.

- Support continuous improvement efforts to evolve organizational change management framework and tools in ways that help grow broader adoption and application
- Partner, collaborate and build relationships with project teams, sponsors, and internal customers to proactively identify and support transformational change initiatives
- Provide training that empowers project teams to develop transformation plans for projects that bring impacted partners through ADKAR (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement) to improve readiness, adoption, and usage while minimizing resistance
- Provide expertise, support, and advisement to project teams to ensure that they are integrating transformation management activities into their project plans.
- Build cross-functional relationships to effectively influence and drive initiatives in a matrixed environment
- Identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks relating to impending transformational change initiatives, and proactively escalate as needed
To be a successful Transformation / Organization Change Management Specialist at MISO, we're looking for the following:
- Shown experience in Transformational / Organizational Change Management or related area
- Successful track record of identifying improvement opportunities that improve MISO transformation framework and processes
- 6+ years of meaningful work experience
- Prosci certification and experience preferred
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
