Looking for a Garage Mechanic who is a self-starter who is motivated to perform, arrange for, track and oversee the repair of small and large distribution utility equipment including gas and diesel powered, hydraulically operated digger derricks and personnel buckets and other construction equipment with minimum supervision. A focus on customer service and limiting end user down time is a priority.
The successful incumbent is a Journeyman Vehicle-Equipment Maintenance Mechanic who is, by training and experience, a qualified automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic and is qualified to overhaul, repair and maintain automotive and utility work equipment including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components and equipment. Ability to focus on job scheduling and input computer-based maintenance records is a requirement.
Requirements
- The successful applicant will be by training and/or experience a qualified automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic.
- This position requires applicants to successfully complete a standardized qualifying exam, administered by PacifiCorp.
- Must have a high school diploma or proof of equivalent.
- Must obtain a Class A Commercial Drivers License withing 90 days of hire date.
- Five years of experience repairing small and large distribution utility equipment is preferred.
