BWXT is seeking qualified and motivated college students to join our highly skilled team of project management/construction management professionals for unique opportunities at our Nuclear Services Group project site. BWXT offers paid internships at many of our sites across the nation, including in Virginia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Interns hired for this position will perform challenging tasks in their Project Management/Construction Management field of study working in a nuclear environment.
Among other tasks, our interns can expect to build skills in problem solving, work in a field environment and interact with field team members and address challenges that arise, prepare and manage work schedules for field crews as well as subcontractors, and assist with project management and procurement of materials as needed. Enhance your ability to read and understand construction prints, and familiarity with basic OSHA regulations skills. Successful candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university studying Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or another closely related field AND:
- Have a Sophomore standing or above at the time the internship begins
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
