There is one position available that will be filled at either the Communications Specialist OR the Sr. Communications Specialist level, commensurate with the selected candidates' skills and abilities.
Develops and facilitates communication and change management messaging strategies, processes and schedules to support the design, introduction and implementation of HR programs, policies or procedures. Develops comprehensive communication strategies and plans to integrate major initiatives and projects from all HR focus areas. Assists with writing and editing messaging for various internal audiences. Assists with editorial planning and coordinating of messaging and relative content for HR communication plans and strategies. Identifies communications and information needs across functional HR and company lines. Identifies and develops marketing points and communication tools for HR programs/processes. Assists with development of change management plans for HR projects/initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Senior Communications Specialist
6+ years of directly related experience and knowledge with an emphasis on communication planning and execution. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of experience of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.)
Other knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
- Ability to lead a team and to develop and manage a network of contacts for communication development and execution.
- Excellent personal computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-direction with ability to lead communications plans and strategies to closure little to no oversight.
- Strong ability to facilitate creativity, leverage technological savvy and collaborate across teams.
- Identifies issues and leads in developing communication plans for appropriate audience and assists with advising leadership on communication plans.
- Displays positive attitude with a desire to grow and develop professionally.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Communications Specialist
3+ years of directly related experience and knowledge with an emphasis on communication planning and execution. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of experience of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.)
