JOB SUMMARY
Collaborates and assists with the design of the end-user cloud services collaboration and computing experience to ensure a high-quality client computing environment. Deploys, maintains, monitors and supports the assigned environment related activities of the organization. Recommends, implements, and supports cost-effective technology solutions for cloud technology projects.
JOB DUTIES
- Understands and applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and ERCOT's culture.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Impact is generally limited to specific assignments or projects.
- Respond to inquiries and/or provide assistance and/or guidance to lower level workers.
- Assists / Provides training to ERCOT staff (technical and non-technical) with new implementations of collaboration tools
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
- This position will work with multiple business operations teams and stakeholders, and must possess excellent client facing skills and communicate effectively to facilitate planning, designing, develop and implement various Office 365 collaboration tools to solve complex business issues
- Manage and monitor Office 365 services and hybrid infrastructure and provide performance and statistical reports to stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain a good understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with organizational change management and submit changes through ERCOT change management process and update Documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services
- Ensure service delivery meets the business requirements (based on defined SLAs)
- Understands and Maintains a highly secure environment through proper configuration, monitoring, security, backup, and redundancy strategies, and creates policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support
- Help champion the adoption of Office 365 services as appropriate for ERCOT business objectives and strategies
- Responsible for the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform
- Administration of SharePoint, Teams Online and Project Online in Cloud
- Practical Cloud product experience with configuration, administration, and deploying solutions for AWS and Azure technologies focused on End User Collaboration offerings
- Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting workflows, InfoPath forms, User permissions, client side issues and out of the box functionality for SharePoint Online and scalability, and site customizations, workflows, lists, libraries, views web parts, search, social, master pages, designer, 3rd party tools, and customize SP features not available through browser, etc.
- Strong practical experience in the use of PowerShell
- Ability to work intuitively and independently on tasks, along or as part of a team with strong organization skills and ability to prioritize, plan and multitask work assignments within deadlines, timelines and budget.
- Ability to secure, harden and perform automated documentation classifications and audits as needed.
- Understanding of a hybrid SharePoint environment
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Senior level experience with the deployment and migration of SharePoint (on-premises/online)
- Experience deploying Teams and OneDrive in an Enterprise environment
- Experience building Power Apps
- Experience automating processes with Power Automate/Microsoft Flow
- Experience with Exchange (on premise/online) administration
- Experience with Office 365 (over 1000 users) administration
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Experience with Office 365 migration tools
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, O365)
- Familiar with implementing a FEDRAMP compliant SharePoint Online environment
- Requires minimum 5 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements
- Requires minimum 5 years demonstrated proficiency and experience with VBScript/PowerShell, and SQL Server queries
Nice to Have:
- Familiar with the application of DISA STIGs
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and 508 compliance
- Development experience include website design and development using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, etc.
- Experience with Project Online
- Understanding or experience with Thales HSM
- Understanding or experience with Intune
CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Office 365 or any other Microsoft certification preferred
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, MIS or related field or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
This position will be physically located in Taylor, TX, just northeast of Austin.
