We are looking for 3 Pre-Apprentice Generation Specialists to take the first step toward a long and rewarding career with Idaho Power. Our apprenticeship training program prepares future Generation Specialists to operate and maintain hydropower plants and facilities, which are at the core of Idaho Power's clean energy portfolio and our goal of providing 100% clean energy by 2045.

They are trained in and perform the operating and maintenance functions essential for the safe and efficient operation of hydropower plants and facilities. Pre-Apprentices must demonstrate the aptitude to be promoted to an Apprentice Generation Specialist position through on-the-job evaluations, a skills assessment and performance evaluations.
