Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Enterprise Architect, you will be part of the Enterprise Strategy & Architecture (ES&A) group which is a centralized enterprise architecture organization within IT department. This group supports PG&E's safety, reliability and affordability goals under the architecture mandate of Standardize, Optimize, and Harmonize and is responsible for developing and executing IT roadmaps ensuring that the business outcomes are achieved in a cost effective and future proofed way.
Your primary responsibility in this role will be to lead a team of seasoned enterprise architects covering different technology domains such as Data & Information Architecture, Datacenter Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and Intelligent Automation. One of the major objectives of this team is to shape the overall technology strategy for the company and, most importantly, help turn the architecture vision into reality.

Job Responsibilities
- Inspiring and leading a team of enterprise architects responsible for collaboratively delivering and maintaining business strategy driven target state architectures and corresponding implementation roadmaps across the enterprise
- Helping maintain prioritized portfolio backlogs for foundational or shared technology capabilities
- Enabling and empowering capability delivery teams through reusable architecture patterns, architecture building blocks, reference architectures, implementation best practices, and architecture decision frameworks
- Rolling up the sleeves to get the job done, if necessary
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of IT management or IT architecture experience
- 3 years experience managing an enterprise architecture practice
Desired:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 10+ years of IT management or IT architecture experience
- Experience with diverse set of application development and integration technologies
- Experience in cloud migration and enterprise integration patterns and best practices
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Ability to foster employee engagement
- Demonstrate critical thinking and good judgment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder relationship skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
