As the Data Privacy Analyst, you will serve within the company's Data Privacy Office, supporting evaluation of the company's data privacy risks, and supporting the development and implementation of solutions to minimize those risks.
Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with business units to identify solutions to minimize data privacy risks and communicates the company's position on data privacy to key stakeholders.
- Develop business unit-specific data privacy guidelines.
- Document data privacy legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the company's internal Data Privacy Office website.
- Manage regular review of company data privacy policies and procedures and recommends improvements.
- Provide support for data inventories and maps.
- Assist in conducting data privacy risk and impact assessments.
- Support the manager in development and documentation of program metrics.
- Support the management of inquiry requests, and incident and breach management.
- Collaborate with the cyber security team on a variety of overlapping initiatives and responsibilities.
- Assist in the development of annual data privacy training materials and business unit specific training and manages employee compliance with required training.
- Develop presentation materials for executive committees and department meetings.
- Initiate, develop, maintain and revise processes for the general operations of the Data Privacy Office and its related activities.
- Assist and support ongoing records management program planning and implementation activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
3 years of work experience in data privacy matters required.
Preferred:
Experience with cyber security, information governance, and/or corporate compliance a plus.
CIPP certification a plus
