As a Gas Specialist Apprentice - 1st Year, you will Perform gas utility construction work activities according to classification.
Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:
Operate equipment used to perform main installs, service installs, leak investigations, and leak surveys.
Serve on a 24-hour emergency watch periodically
Basic Qualifications:
High School
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to work safely outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
Must be located within 25 driving miles of the Operating Center
Work overtime and serve on standby service watch.
Preferred:
CDL or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire
HVAC experience
Mechanical aptitude
Position is located in our Marion, IN Operating Center.
