As an Engineer, you will maintain continuous support of Energy Management System (EMS) and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) modeling and applications. Develop or enhance applications to provide new functionalities for Distribution Dispatching and Real-time Operations (RTO) in the control center. Work with other engineers and analysts on the development and maintenance of CNP electric network models.

Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:

EMS & ADMS modeling Support - Support the development and maintenance of the EMS & ADMS network models by updating grid models with as-built corrections or new equipment construction. Tests EMS & ADMS network models and software changes to ensure that network applications produce consistent and credible results.

Advanced Applications/Support - Work with Operators, Analysts and Engineers to research, develop, and implement enhancements to the energy management system (EMS), the Advanced Distribution Management (ADMS) system and other automation systems. Work with EMS and DMS vendors to modify, implement and document application changes. Define specifications, design and test applications to ensure that they meet changing functional requirements. Provide engineering analysis to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems with the EMS and ADMS applications.

Power Systems Analysis Support - Work with Operators and other Engineers in analyzing power grid scenarios for secure and reliable operations. Provide post-event analysis support by utilizing EMS & ADMS applications such as powerflow, fault location, contingency analysis, or others.
