Overview
Industrial Electricians are an integral part of the project team and are responsible for providing support to the project manager and site superintendent with material coordinating, installing, maintaining, and replacing electrical systems.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures.
- Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
- Cost effective use of direct materials and consumables.
- Ensuring production compliance with both Company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and investigating all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Ensuring that production tooling, equipment and facilities used are calibrated (where required) and properly used, such that conformance with contractual and company standards is achieved.
Qualifications
Education:
- Hold both a Journeyman Electrcial & Instrumentation ticket( dual ticketed)
Experience:
- Experience in municipal company considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in municipal industry an asset.
- 5 years experience in an industrial setting.
