Description
Duties:
* Electrical engineering support for maintenance of hydro and thermal generating and synchronous condense stations, as well as support structures, including spillways and dams, at facilities including: Wahleach, Lake Buntzen, Ruskin, Stave Falls, Alouette, Burrard, Cheakamus, Clowhom, Prince Rupert, and Fort Nelson generating stations.
* Act as the technical lead when working with crews to resolve maintenance issues and troubleshoot equipment problems.
* Be technically responsible for reviewing, revising, and making recommendations on the Preventative Maintenance programs.
* Support data collection and analysis for EHR (Equipment Health Rating) and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) in the generating station.
* Provide technical support in the development of capital plans and plant improvement projects.
* Will be headquartered at Burrard Generating Station and/or the BC Hydro Mission Office.
* Travel to support generation stations throughout British Columbia will be required.
