Description
Role Summary: The Supply Chain Finance Manager will be responsible for driving operational and financial results for the Salem plant. In this role, you will work closely with the Plant manager to analyze and report out to management the results of various Supply Chain key metrics (VCP / Deflation / Base costs / Headcount / Inventory / PP&E (Plant, Property & Equipment)) and coordinate with other parties (Engineering, P&Ls and other functions) to achieve the planned operating results.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will:
- Support critical business planning processes: SII, Op Plan, Quarterly estimates, QMI (Quick Market Intelligence), etc.
- Manage monthly and quarterly closing process for all plant sites, including cost accounting accruals, inventory costing, FIFO, obsolescence / warranty reserves, and consequent balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations
- Drive consistent and accurate reporting for VCP, deflation, variable / base costs, project execution, and margins on monthly basis
- Support weekly / monthly finance operating processes, including QMI, PSI, Inventory deep dive, plant financial ops reviews
- Drive working capital improvements, including payables and inventory
- Provide leadership in controllership related to inventory accounting / processes (physical inventory controls, costing & production order accounting)
