Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the improvement & development of management system procedures and forms, in line with applicable standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
  • Create training materials in support of new procedures
  • Participate in the development of reports, statistics and data analysis
  • Incident Investigations
  • Corrective & Preventive Actions
  • Root Cause Analysis of the above
  • Human Performance
  • Project Management
  • Evaluation of trends
  • Participates in the maintenance of site records and filing systems 
  • SharePoint/Tableau development and implementation
  • Coordinate meetings (prepare agendas, take minutes, track actions)
  • Participate in various employee committees
  • Must be able to travel on short notice and stay off-site during Project execution 

Qualifications

  • Must be available for a minimum 8-month co-op position
  • Enrolled in a University/College program related to Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Assurance
  • Previous work experience (office environment, customer service, etc)
  • Valid G Driver's license
  • Must possess the following skills:
  • An aptitude for problem solving; strong writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Tableau and other digital solutions
  • Ability to work with a variety of employee types (field staff, office support, management)
  • A willingness to take initiative to understand the business 
  • Demonstrated academic achievement 
  • A strong record of team, project and/or people leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities 
  • A strong commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth 
  • Must be a resourceful, responsible, tenacious, independent and confident team player
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
