Description
Tribus has an immediate opening for Meter Reader for our project located in Surrey, BC on 173rd street This position is responsible for electronic water reading of meter readers used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing. Reads up to 370 meters daily.
Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for reading water meters and record volume used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing.
- Casual position-anywhere from 8-40 hours a week, usually a set schedule on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- $18/hr. Will drive your own car, we pay per driven kilometers, typical day is between 30-40 kilometers.
- Must have a good driving record, will bring in driving abstract at the interview.
- At end of shift, reports to Supervisor and enters into hand held device any problem such as meter irregularities, damaged equipment, or impediments to meter access, including dogs. Returns hand held device.
