Overview:
Be part of an expert team with responsibility for equipment reliability, availability, predictions and improvements across the entire NextEra Energy fossil fleet. We are seeking team players who take action, strive to achieve and maintain excellence in technical and functional accountability, embrace innovation and change, aggressively promote a safe and healthy environment, and strive for continuous improvement in all activities to achieve excellent results.
Responsibilities:
Position makes decisions and recommendations having significant impact on conditions that impact the company. The position will have to communicate critical and controversial issues with high level management of the company. Role will be responsible for one or more programs of critical importance to overall company objectives.
Analytical capabilities
- Utilize and develop informational databases
- Develop predictions on equipment life and operations utilizing statistics & data
- Improve the overall reliability of the system while keeping costs low
Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
-Weekly indicator reviews
-Run the Business Dashboards
-Fleet Performance/Health Indicators
Budget Development
-Validate asset plan
-Asset Management Reports, Outage Schedules
Initiatives/Leadership
-Tactical Teams, Collaboration Teams
-Equipment Lifecycle Management
-Manage Fleet reliability models
Process Management
-Champion Asset Management Process
-Lead Process Health initiatives for the Fossil Fleet
