About the Opportunity
This is an open position with FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.
The position of Nuclear Security Officer is responsible for providing physical security of station facilities and performing activities such as:
- Armed response
- Search of personnel, packages and vehicles
- Foot and vehicle patrols
- Control of vehicles and pedestrian personnel access
- Personnel access control
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet one of the following requirements:
1) State of Ohio Certified Peace Officers Training
2) Prior military training
3) Previous law enforcement experience
4) Private security experience
