Description
Essential Functions:
- Work from part drawings and specifications
- Set up, adjust and operate several machine tools on standardized work where setup detail and operating procedures are prescribed, or operate and maintain setups on special and single purpose machines where operations may involve several progressive machining sequences.
- Responsible for keeping material holding fixtures or clamping devices clear of chips to insure proper positioning of work and to recognize defective tooling and machine malfunctions and dimensional deviations
- Operate paint line equipment including hanging, painting, and packing to meet customer specifications
- Maintain chemical/coolant checks on equipment
- Use scale, calipers, adjustable, direct reading and fixed gauges to set up, operate and check work
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) of Jackson, MI will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience running a CNC Machine
