NextEra Energy Resources is one of the largest wholesale generators of electric power and renewable energy from the wind and sun in North America.
Job Purpose:
- Position is responsible for the daily management and leadership of a wind power generation facility.
- This position must be able to ensure compliance to all standard operating processes and emulate the NextEra Energy Corporate Values.
- This position will require interfacing with land owners, utilities, regulatory agencies, and local government and/or community representatives.
- Monitors /controls/forecasts plant budgets and ensures compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Job may include other collateral duties in support of the Power Generation portfolio.
- Responsible for maintaining all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
- Position requires a highly motivated and self-directed individual with analytical and problem solving skills.
- The use of computer based applications is required.
- Must be able to climb freestanding wind turbine towers and work in a team environment.
- These towers can be of tubular and or lattice construction and can be in excess of 200 feet from the ground.
- Ensure compliance to all company safety and environmental policies.
- Complete reports and paperwork as required.
- Must possess a strong mitigating mindset for safety and risk avoidance.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Grad/GED.
- 2-5 years of power generation experience or relevant experience.
- Relevant supervisory experience required.
- Valid Driver License required.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Power Generation or related industrial fields preferred
