PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs and manages activities relating to planning, building, operating, maintaining and the continuous improvement of Exelon's e-mail messaging and mobile application management products, services and related processes. Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates and ensures successful completion per service level targets. Expected to work under minimal supervision.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan and lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements.
- Assist in planning and prioritizing work and work schedules.
- Perform, manage and appropriately document work activities relating to processes and sub-projects.
- Assist in creation of documentation for products and services for use within the team and by our business partners.
- Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners and improve adherence across the enterprise to standards as defined in the Management Model and reference materials.
- Maintain and enhance engagements with business and IT partners and other stakeholders.
- Provide performance and development feedback as required.
- Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen pertaining to Exelon's e-mail messaging and mobile application management services.
- Identify, develop and implement continuous improvement activities to enhance the delivery and reliability of Exelon's e-mail and mobile application management services.
- Identify and execute on automation opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
- Utilize metrics to report on and improve service level target performance, and the performance and availability of relevant product and services.
- Monitor production environment for issues, remediate and escalate as necessary.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and off hours maintenance activities.
- Fulfill requests and resolve incidents assigned to the team.
- Create and manage e-mail mailbox and distribution group policies, relays and connectors.
- Configure advanced transport rules.
- Administer legal hold and discovery for user mailboxes.
- Manage mailbox quotas and retention policies.
