Overview
Manages day-to-day construction/ maintenance activities, including supervision of craft employees and subcontractors. Schedules field activities in coordination with the project schedule. Is responsible for safety, production goals, quality control, and cost control. May supervise one or more craft groups and/or scopes of work

Responsibilities
- Lead an active role in the development and implementation of the safety culture onsite
- Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman,managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence
- Attend monthly safety meetings
- Coordinate and interface effectively with other craft superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Willbros staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
- Execute field activities in accordance with client requirements and procedures
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
- Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, mentoring and promoting a positive work culture
- Supports, promotes and ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Monitor productivity /costs and implement appropriate action to maintain maximum labour effectiveness
- Manages project budget
- Forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization
- Supporting timely resolution of customer issues and concerns
- Leads crews in installing manholes, valves, gauges, and feed-water connection in drums to complete assembly of water tube boilers.
- Familiar with all Company Safety and QA/QC procedures and strictly enforces the amongst the workforce.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Boilermaker Certification ( Red Seal)
- Extensive experience managing field maintenance, construction and shutdown operations
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the energy sector.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial site operations, contract management, performance measurement and cost controls.
- Skilled communicator and ability to build strong relationships through delivery of performance metrics and continuous improvement processes.
- Superior leadership skills with proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- Successfully managed multiple large scale projects with multiple contractors simultaneously
- Previous knowledge/experience in large infrastructure projects is required
