Opportunity Profile:

We have an amazing opportunity for a District Sales Manager responsible for the sales and business development of our Alpha Wire products within an assigned territory covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, S. Dakota, and N. Dakota. Vertical markets for this position would focus on: Discrete Manufacturing and OEM markets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Expanding customer base through creating product demand, prospecting new customers and opportunities
- Identifying opportunities and building relationships with end users and channel partners
- Managing new business development and opportunities for Alpha Wire products
- Sales maintenance and penetration of legacy customers
- Demand creation through New Product Introduction and strategic share gain activities
- Generation and capture of sales opportunities through end-user and channel partner engagement
- Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years Field Sales Experience, preferably in the Minnesota, Wisconsin, S. Dakota, and N. Dakota markets
- Knowledgeable with product specification design
- Channel knowledge & interaction
- Specification design experience
- Similar or related product experience
- Strong competencies in calling on key influences within OEM markets
- Distribution sales Experience in OEM, Industrial & MRO channels
- Experience with CRM software, SalesForce preferred
- High comfort level with data analysis tools such as MS Excel
- Strong independent strategic planning and tactical implementation skills
