Description
This Optical Components Test Engineering role is a key position that will report to the Leader of Optical Components Operations. The role is responsible for providing test automation support and expertise to an Optical Components Supply Chain Team and collaborate with the R&D and manufacturing teams as it relates to new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining test engineering for optical components.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A team player who works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve measurable and significant results in order to exceed customer expectations
- Able to provide technical expertise and opinion on software architecture, back office and MCS integration for optical components
- Work with both internal and external partners to achieve key product performance criteria during the optical component product lifecycle
- Achieve high yields, manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement in collaboration with overseas manufacturing
