Description
The Engineer in the Civil Design Group will be responsible for civil site work design, including preparation of grading, drainage, and erosion control plans. The individual shall have a good understanding of survey data required to perform a land development design. The engineer will be expected to perform foundation structural analysis/design on an as needed basis. The engineer/estimator will be responsible for supporting the planning and budgeting processes by providing complete and accurate estimates of material, labor, and total costs associated with the civil portion of transmission substation and line projects. This position will also be responsible for tracking project expenditures. The position will require field visits and may involve occasional overnight travel.
