Insieme is developing the Nexus 9000 line of data center and cloud switches that feature application awareness to make the network infrastructure flexible and agile for dynamic response to application needs and virtual machine workload mobility. Insieme also developed a 40G Ethernet transceiver designed to drastically lower the price of 40G optics to better compete with other competitor switches. Who You Are
- You have three plus years of experience with embedded Software experience.
- Three to ten years of overall software experience.
- In depth platform, drivers, kernel experience.
- Layer 2 protocol experience in Ethernet switching and QoS is a plus.
- Strong C programming skills. BSCS/CE is required MSCS/CE is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- If you have experience with any of the following areas it is a plus: RTOS embedded experience ( VxWorks, PSOS, Linux OS).
- Hands on experience on switch/router embedded system software development.
- Strong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting skills.
- Experience w/ IP routing protocols
