Job Description

The Houston Lube Plant (HLP or HLOBP) is a Shell Lube Oil Blending Plant in Galena Park. The Administrative Assistant/Plant Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring that the administrative responsibilities for the Houston Lubricant Plant (HLP) employees are managed accurately and in a timely manner. This includes payroll processing, badge issuance, vendor management and monthly reporting. The successful candidate is well versed in;

  • Teamwork

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • SAP experience
  • Timekeeping or prior payroll experience
  • Leadership ability
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Prioritization and organizational skills
Requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum two (2+) years of manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions
  • Proficient in SAP, Excel, and MS Office Suite
  • Experience in environment health and safety is preferred
  • Must be able to present information to multiple stakeholders
