Major Responsibilities:

  • Self-prospecting/cold calling is an integral part of this position
  • Provide direct, face to face and telephone account management and sales for a portfolio of new and existing customers
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for electricity, natural gas and additional ENMAX Energy products and services
  • Professional accountability for and integrity of products, offers, legal contracts and services
  • Educate customers on energy industry information
  • Maintain and strengthen the relationship with all existing ENMAX Clients
  • Gather competitive intelligence
  • Make effective use of CRM  technology for documenting client data and interactions
  • Optimization of customer communications through the coordination, promotion, sponsorship and or implementation of communication initiatives
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a collaborative team environment
Requirements

Education Required:

  • University degree or diploma in business or related field

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-5 years' relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success in uncovering new customers and closing sales, either over the phone or in person
  • Proven experience up-selling services
  • Preferred industry experience would be: utility, telecommunications, insurance services, financial services, fitness, IT or pharmaceutical

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary
