The HSE Coordinator assists in the development, implementation, training and maintenance of a variety of occupational health, safety and environmental programs and procedures. Assists and ensures compliance with all government agencies, and maintains the highest possible degree of safety for Corix US employees at assigned projects. This position will address HSE initiatives at metering projects and utility power plants and infrastructure across the United States.

Responsibilities:

Assists HSE Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining safety programs and policies to be compliant with all government agencies.

Develop and conduct training on OSHA regulations and safety related company policies and procedures.

Ensure facilities and field employees are in compliance with OSHA, NFPA-70E, ANSI, DOT, EPA and all regulatory or legislative requirements.

Compile safety data to complete monthly reports that are sent to upper management.

Researching and creating informative materials, training materials, conducting training, fielding and answering questions and providing follow-up as needed.

We expect you to be able to travel to (in and out of town) job site and perform safety audit and job site analysis to determine employee exposure to health and safety hazards. Travel is approximately 30% of your job duties.

Preferred Skills: 

A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health or related field preferred.

Gas, water or electrical experience preferred however not a knockout.

You should possess a working knowledge of federal, state and local Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and environmental compliance with applicable federal, state regulations and standards.

Previous training or public speaking experience is needed.

You will be traveling and driving company vehicles so a valid driver's license and a good driving record is required.
